Okkar forgangsatriði er að tryggja gestum okkar ánægjulega óbyggða upplifun í fullkomnu jafnvægi við umhverfið sem styður okkur.
Borea Adventures er lítið fyrirtæki, í eigu og starfrækt af fólki sem elskar að vera úti í náttúrunni. Við viljum deila okkar reynslu með því að bjóða fólki með okkur í örugg og skemmtileg ævintýri allt um Vestfirði.
Borea Adventures fylgir meginreglum um sjálfbæra ferðaþjónustu, þar að segja við göngum vel um náttúruna og skiljum ekkert eftir okkur. Ferðirnar okkar eru einnig ‘’hljóðlausar’’, þar sem við reynum að nota engin vélknúin farartæki.
Við viljum hvetja fólk til hreyfingar sem hæfir hvaða getustigi sem er, allt frá auðveldum siglingum og göngum til krefjandi hreyfingar með meiri hasar.
Við treystum á þekkingu heimamanna og virðum þeirra menningu. Því leggjum við mikinn metnað í að nota eingöngu leiðsögumenn með mikla þekkingu á náttúrunni hér í kring og vita sögu svæðisins.
Í ljúffengu máltíðirnar sem við berum fram notum við fyrst og fremst hráefni frá þeim svæðum sem við ferðumst um.

Henry David Thoreau wrote this over 150 years ago in his cabin on Walden Pond. Today we too like to seek inspiration from nature and spend as much time as we can outdoors. We love to share this with like-minded people – this was the main reason for us to start the Borea Adventures operation.
We like to travel “silently” and are therefore using motorized vehicles as little as possible. In addition to sailing on our yacht we are also hiking, kayaking, climbing, skiing etc.
We are also working with people who operate horse-riding trips through the mountains and valleys of the West Fjords. We don’t have names for all the combinations of trips we like to do but they could be: skiing/kayaking (ski-yakking(!)), sailing/riding, sailing/skiing, kayaking/riding etc etc.

Borea Adventures is a small company, owned and operated by people who love being outdoors and enjoy the nature and culture of the North Atlantic. We like to share our experience by giving people access to these areas through safe and fun filled adventure holidays.
Borea Adventures adheres to the principles of low impact, sustainable tourism. Our trips are “silent”, as we try not to use any motorized vehicles. We like to encourage physical activity to suit any level of ability from easy sailing and hiking through to exhilarating action sports.
We rely on local knowledge and respect local culture. We take great pride in using only guides with a thorough knowledge of the local nature and history. For our mouth watering cuisine we use primarily ingredients from the areas we travel in.
Our priority is to guarantee our guests enjoyable wilderness experiences in perfect harmony with the environment that supports us.
