Borea Adventures was founded by husband-and-wife Nanný Arna and Rúnar Óli. Over the course of 17 years all their kids have been involved in the company at some point as well other family members. We are also lucky enough to have a big group of returning guides and staff that we consider a part of our family. We would love for you to join us!
It takes time to come up to the Westfjords, so we have put time and effort into curating memorable tours. With us you can find something for everyone, whether you are an expert or beginner.
We pride ourselves on having a strong environmental policy. Smaller group sizes mean less impact on our trails. Nature is our work place so we strive to preserve the environment and keep it pristine for years to come.
We have the answers to your 1000 questions. Have you ever wondered how the fjords formed? What is the name of that white flower? What was life like for the first settlers in the Westfjords? Or why 40+ nationalities stay in Ísafjörður?
Passionate from the start, knowledgeable and professional experience, but always a personal and fun attitude. Guides hold Wilderness First Responder certification. Our guides come from all over the world, we currently have about 10 nationalities in the Borea family.
